Uh-oh. Cracks through concrete masonry units could be caused by sudden movement of the ground, undue stress on the structure, or poorly manufactured blocks. Whatever the cause, it's not something you want to find!

Can you see the drip? That's a slow leak under a home where the water pipe connects the exterior spigot.

Here is improperly secured plumbing. Unsecured plumbing lines are prone to breaking or leaking as undue stress is added to the lines at the connection points from the weight of the hanging pipes.

Here we have a potentially DEADLY situation! It may be hard to see, but that's a power line hanging very low in nearly graspable range! The service lines to your home should be at least 12ft above the driveway.

Here's some improperly secured cabinetry. It may not seem like a big deal until all your dishware comes crashing down on you or your kids and pets!

Here's a crawlspace without a vapor barrier. Another common, easily preventable issue often found in homes with crawlspaces. Without a proper vapor barrier in place (and venting) moisture from the earth can rise into your home, potentially damaging the foundation, insulation, and sub-flooring. Plus it creates the perfect environment for mold and termites!

Here is one of the most commonly encountered gutter issues. Downspouts should be releasing water at least 6ft away from the home. Ejecting rainwater this close to the house can cause foundational issues over time.

If you look closely you can see where this bedroom ceiling has been "patched". I don't know what happened here, but I'd be willing to bet a leak was involved!
